National retailer Advance Auto Parts announced Thursday plans to close more than 700 locations in the coming years as the company works to resolve its current financial woes. The announcement of the closure was made during the company’s third quarter earnings report.

The Associated Press reports that the company lost $6 million in the quarter — which ended Oct. 5 — despite revenue of $2.15 billion. Analysts had expected revenue closer to $2.67 billion for the quarter. Advance Auto Parts says it is on track to achieve $9 billion in revenue for the year.

While a full list of locations that will be closed has not been released by the company, it is confirmed that 523 Advance corporate stores and 204 independent locations will close in the coming years. The company is also closing four distribution centers and will operate 13 by 2026. The company currently operates approximately 4,700 stores in the United States.

The AP reports that Advance Auto Parts shares are down 33% since the start of 2024 and 29% over the past 12 months.
