Tom Cruise is back in action to complete another near-impossible task: could he pull off stunts like his motorcycle cliff jump or the big leap at the 2024 Paris Olympics? Only time will tell, but fans can expect even more exciting moments in Mission: Impossible – The Final Judgment. The 62-year-old actor took Instagram to share news of the upcoming film and its trailer, stating: “Our lives are the sum of our choices. Mission: Impossible – The final settlement. According to IMDbthe action film will also feature Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirbyand more.

The eighth film is scheduled to be released on May 23, 2025.

Why was the title changed to Final judgment?

Initially, the film was intended to be the “second part” of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, part one. As the story continues, the title has been changed to Final judgmentalthough many expected it to be “part two”.

When the seventh film was released, Cruise recalled his InstagramI am very grateful to be able to travel the world to bring you these films. He truly embraced his role and took on a challenge worthy of Mission: Impossible by traveling to four American cities – Toronto, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Miami – to surprise fans during screenings in 2023.

East Mission: Impossible – The Final Judgment the last film?

Although the word “finale” suggests that this may be Ethan Hunt’s (Cruise’s character) final mission, it is still unclear if this will be the final film in the franchise. According to The Hollywood ReporterParamount wanted to promote the film as the “final” chapter to boost engagement.

As Mission: Impossible – The Final Judgment is highly anticipated, the seventh film received a rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes and grossed $571 million at the box office worldwide, according to THR.
