THE Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee (PAHDCC) released a statement Friday morning, declaring victory.

“This was a tough election, but our incumbents proved they have the trust of their voters,” said Madeline Zann, executive director of PAHDCC. “They are focused on the needs of their districts and the people of Pennsylvania. This majority is the majority of the people because voters trust it to deliver results. I look forward to seeing how our majority builds on its accomplishments for the people of Pennsylvania in the years to come.

The State House is responsible for creating laws and helping the governor develop a budget. Each member is elected for a two-year term. All 203 seats in the lower legislative house were up for grabs on Tuesday.
