Liverpool are facing a triple contract crisis with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

Salah, 32 years old, set tongues wagging again last week with a post on social media the day after the Reds’ 2-1 Premier League victory over Brighton. The Egyptian superstar appeared to bid farewell to Anfield with no resolution in talks over a new deal in sight.

Van Dijk meanwhile admitted a few weeks ago that he had no idea about his future with sporting director Richard Hughes under pressure to grant new terms to three of the club’s most important players.
