When Leah Remini and Angelo Pagán announced his divorce on August 29, after 21 years of marriage, they vowed that they were “best friends” and would “celebrate the holidays together, watch our favorite TV shows together, and gather as family.” Some fans may not have believed them, but Remini and her ex-husband are proving their critics wrong.

On Monday, November 11, Pagán revealed that he was still spend your free time with Remini. He posted a clip of himself getting excited about the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles game. His ex-wife could be heard in the background laughing and joking with him.

“Who exactly are you talking to, Angelo?” “” Remini asked as her ex spoke animatedly on the TV screen.

“I’m talking on TV,” he joked. “They can hear me.”

“Are you happy, Ang?” » asked Remini.

“I’m so happy right now,” he replied.

Remini and Pagán were honest about why they separated after a total of 28 years together. “To put it simply, we both changed, like people, and got used to playing roles that no longer suited us. After much effort and consideration, we have decided to take this step, which reflects who we are today,” they wrote in their August Instagram statement.

They wanted everyone to know that “their bond is still strong, it’s just evolved into something different” and that they were going to continue to put their daughter, Sofia, 20, first. The former duo added: “From our point of view, this wedding was a huge success. And now we look forward to creating even more precious moments, but in a different way.

There is no doubt that the ideas of Remini and Pagán Best friend status will continue, just without the romance.
