Buckcherry plans to release a new album in spring 2025

Buckle up, you crazy bitches, because it’s time to Cherry to serve up their normal cocktail of AC/DC-inspired sleaze and a level of misogyny that would make Dr. Dre uncomfortable. The 11thth The California hard rockers’ studio album was apparently recorded earlier this month and will be released around spring 2025.

In a recent interview with laughmonkeymusic (this was transcribed by Blabbermouth), Buckcherry guitarist Stevie Dacanay gives an update on the next 11th album:

“We’re going to make a 10-song album like we usually do. We got together with Marti Frederiksen several times over the last year to write songs, and then we also did a demo in my studio in California. And we wrote – I don’t know – maybe more than 20 songs. And we always narrow that down to 10 songs. So I’d like to tell you the name of the album, but it’s not named yet. But this is BUCKCHERRY’s eleventh album… And it will probably be released next year, in the spring.

Marti Frederiksen is a fairly well-known name behind the scenes in rock and pop music, having previously worked with Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, and more. But if you don’t know him for his production work, you might recognize him as the person who sang the vocals for the fictional band Stillwater in Cameron Crowe’s famous 2000 rock film. Almost Famous.

If you want to catch Buckcherry in the meantime, they’ll be on the ShipRocked Cruise January 19-25 with Parkway Drive, Hollywood Undead, Atreyu, The Ghost Inside, POD and more. They will also open for Scorpions during their Las Vegas residency on February 27 and March 1-11.
