How to Spend a Day Like Dorinda Medley at Blue Stone Manor

If you’re a fan of “Real Housewives,” chances are you’ve dreamed of spending a day with “RHONY” alum Dorinda Medley. Iconic Pierre Bleue Manor in the Berkshires; who wouldn’t?!

Lucky for you, we — Danny Murphy and Evan Real, co-hosts of Page Six’s “Real Virtual Tea” – was able to spend time with Dorinda herself while exploring the legendary estate, fully decorated for Halloween.

And we have a special thank you to Tri-State Cadillac, who helped us travel from New York to Massachusetts in style in their sleek LYRIQ electric vehicle. Very chic!

From appearing on several seasons of “Real Housewives of New York City” to serving as the location for Peacock’s “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club,” Blue Stone Manor has essentially become a Bravolebrity in its own right.

And yes, the house, which was built in 1902, has seen its share of “housewives” outbursts.

(Remember Luann de Lesseps storming out of the infamous “Fish Room?” More on that later.)

But let’s start with the “Peacock Room,” which is as beautiful as it is historic – both in Bravo and Dorinda Medley history.

The room was entirely inspired by a lifelike peacock figure that Medley purchased at Barneys (RIP) and carried all the way down Park Avenue because it couldn’t be separated from her beloved statue.

The figurine then migrated from Manhattan to Massachusetts, eventually finding its permanent home in the blue-hued sanctuary of Blue Stone.

The home features custom Missoni rugs on its grand staircase, which is currently covered in festive garlands for the spooky season.

“RHONY” fans may know this piece best as the one in which Bethenny Frankel told Ramona Singer to “mention everything.” And oh, she did it!

It’s also the home of Julie Heffernan’s beloved painting of Dorinda, which has been turned into no less than hundreds of memes.

And now we have to enter it: the “fish room”. Do we even need to explain?

She considers the aquatic-themed home one of the best in the house, despite what Luann de Lesseps said.
The former “RHONY” rules for staying at Blue Stone Manor are posted in the “Fish Room.”

It’s the place that wasn’t worthy enough of a certain cabaret star (cough Luann de Lesseps cough), but quickly transformed into a highly sought-after accommodation location for all fans.

While we are of course not as chic as Countess Luann, we have to say that the “Fish Room” exceeded our expectations and may actually be the best room in the entire house.

With windows offering stunning views of the beautiful outdoors from its own bathroom, the features of the home were enough for us to want to grow some palm fronds and move in.

This year, holiday enthusiasts have focused on the theme of “decomposition.” Andrew Werner for PageSix
Halloween decor filled every corner of Blue Stone Manor.

Blue Stone Manor’s dining room is the perfect setting for a classic “Housewives” group dinner, complete with scary and screaming matches and tantalizing tantrums.

The beautiful table setting was designed by interior designer and specialist Christofle Vincent Festa III. This year, holiday enthusiasts leaned into a “decay” theme, incorporating moss and more decor that provided a morbid — but beautiful — aesthetic.

And of course, Dorinda “made it fun” for us by preparing her famous lasagna and a Halloween-inspired stew (which we politely passed on) to enjoy around the beautifully decorated table.

After making sure we were fed, Dorinda took us outside to see the mansion’s swimming pool. And we have to say, the sparkling blue water was certainly enough to convert even the most anti-Blue Stone Manor “housewives.”

Personally, we would have to be physically distanced if we ever had the chance to take a dip.

Dorinda can relate, as she let us know that she still swims during the cold fall months!

On the way back from the pool, we stopped to see the Corn Goddess and tell her one of our wishes – which we would like to share but unfortunately cannot because it won’t come true!

Dorinda also showed off her giant inflatable pumpkin decoration, which the neighbors look forward to seeing every year – even though it once flew away and rolled into one of their yards. Spooky!

The greatest pleasure for us, however, was spending time with Dorinda in her beloved home, especially during her favorite time of year.
