Sunday will mark Harris’ 12th day of campaigning in Michigan since she announced she would seek the Democratic nomination for president in July. That underscores Michigan’s importance to his campaign and that of former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee.

Today, around noon, she is scheduled to deliver a speech at the church service in Detroit. Tonight, around 6 p.m., Harris will speak at an event in East Lansing.

Harris landed at Detroit Metropolitan Airport at 1 a.m. this morning, according to a press release, following his appearance. at the cold open of “Saturday Night Live” in a sketch opposite actress and comedian Maya Rudolph, who portrays her in the series.
