FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – On Saturday, the Boys & Girls Club of Fort Wayne and CME Construction began preparing for the 20th annual “Christmas on Broadway.”

Starting at 9 a.m., members of both organizations gathered on Broadway Plaza, outside the Shine & Hardin building, to build a tree stand that will host a 40-foot Colorado spruce that is part of the 20th Annual “Christmas on Broadway.” celebration.

Leaders of both organizations say building Saturday’s tree stand gave members of the Boys & Girls Club of Fort Wayne an opportunity to be in the community before the celebration.

The 40-foot Colorado spruce The Christmas tree is expected to arrive on Monday, November 18.

The 20th annual Christmas on Broadway will take place at the Broadway Plaza, outside the Shine & Hardin building, starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 22.

The event will feature a parade, tree lighting, fireworks and other holiday-themed activities, celebrating the holiday season in the Summit City.
