NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A man was shot Saturday (Nov. 9) in what appears to have been a drive-by shooting along Tulane Avenue, New Orleans police said.

The age and condition of the adult victim were not immediately released.

The man was injured at 11:48 a.m. outside or near Ciao Tapas Bar & Lounge at 4033 Tulane Ave.

Broken glass was visible on the sidewalk outside this business and at the nearby Regina’s Bar. New Orleans police also placed crime scene tape around a nearby vacant lot as they searched there and on the lake side of Tulane Avenue for shell casings and other evidence.
