Florida law enforcement asks for help finding 4-year-old boy

ORMOND BEACH, Florida. – Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a statewide alert asking the public to help find a four-year-old boy who went missing from a park Sunday morning in Volusia County.

Deputies and officers from the Ormond Beach Police Department and Volusia County Sheriff’s Office were searching for Waylon Childs, who was last seen around 11:45 a.m., at Central Park, at 601 Fleming Avenue.which includes interconnected lakes, trails, boardwalks and a fishing pier.

According to the FDLE, Waylon was wearing a brown shirt, brown sweatpants and gray shoes. He is about 3 feet tall and weighs about 30 pounds.
