LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo will call on Nevadans to start preparing for the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Governor will introduce America250, a national, nonpartisan initiative to honor the birthday of the United States of America. Additionally, he will discuss Nevada’s specific role and how residents can participate in the festivities as part of the America250 Nevada effort.

It will highlight ongoing efforts to help educate, engage and celebrate Nevada’s contribution to American history and what Nevadans can expect.
