Clarkstown, NY – On Saturday, the Clarkstown Police Department assisted the Montvale Police Department with a vehicle pursuit involving burglary suspects. The chase ended near Lake Nanuet Road and Pittsford Way in Nanuet.

Three suspects fled the vehicle on foot when they arrived on scene. Clarkstown officers joined the search, deploying unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) drones and K9 units. Despite collaborative efforts with local and state law enforcement, two suspects remain at large.

One of the suspects, Jacob A. Ortega-Espinoza, 27, was apprehended shortly after fleeing. Ortega-Espinoza, who has no fixed address, faces charges of fleeing justice, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He is currently awaiting arraignment at Clarkstown Police Headquarters.
