DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers announced Tuesday that they have reached a new television broadcast agreement.

The deal is with Diamond Sports Group and keeps the team on FanDuel Sports Network – formerly Bally Sports Detroit – for all games in the market. This means that FanDuel Sports Detroit will carry all games that are not selected exclusively by national networks like ESPN, FOX or Apple TV.

FanDuel Sports Detroit will also broadcast pre- and post-game shows for the Tigers. Fans can also watch games on the FanDuel Sports Network app by logging in with paid TV credentials or purchasing a subscription.

“We are excited to renew our long-standing partnership with the Tigers and continue delivering broadcasts to passionate fans across Michigan,” said Diamond CEO David Preschlack. “Through comprehensive linear and digital offerings, our renewed partnership ensures Tigers games reach fans on a variety of platforms, keeping them connected to the team they love.” »

The duration and financial details of the deal were not revealed.
