    Cash App users have just a few more weeks to submit a claim for up to $2,500 as the mobile payments service is forced to pay $15 million in damages.

    Users who experienced unauthorized or fraudulent withdrawals or fund transfers from their Cash App account between August 23, 2018 and August 20, 2024 can submit a claim, according to the Cash App website.

    The class action lawsuit states that the December 2021 data breach led to “the unauthorized public disclosure of the personally identifiable information of 8.2 million current and former Cash App Investing customers.”
