Alcatraz AI leverages distribution channel to grow its biometric security footprint

Following the launch of its Rock X Face Authentication security and access control system, Alcatraz AI announced partnerships with Convergint and CBORD.

Convergint offers Rock X to enterprise customers

Alcatraz AI’s new partnership with Convergenta systems integrator, is expected to provide facial authentication access control to the company’s enterprise customers worldwide. The collaboration integrates Alcatraz AI’s facial biometrics system, Rock X, into Convergint’s security technology, aiming to streamline secure access in enterprise and industrial environments.

Convergint, which provides electronic security, cybersecurity and safety systems to businesses, will now offer Rock X to its customers, expanding its portfolio with a tool designed to improve secure entry by reducing the need for physical access credentials .

Rock X uses artificial intelligence to authenticate users in real time, using 3D facial mapping and neural networks to efficiently verify identities.

“Partnering with companies like Alcatraz AI allows Convergint to stay ahead of the evolving security landscape,” adds Joe Young, global vice president of partner development and strategic alliances at Convergint.

CBORD strengthens campus security

Alcatraz AI collaboration with CBORD is also designed to enable enhanced security in education and healthcare environments, where access management and identity verification are critical to both security and operational efficiency. The collaboration aims to improve campus security by integrating Alcatraz AI’s facial biometrics and tailgate detection technology with CBORD Campus Access Systems.

Through this partnership, Alcatraz AI facial authentication technology will streamline entry for students, staff and visitors to various campus facilities, including dining halls, athletic venues and restricted research or computing spaces , with a contactless access system.

We look forward to working together to demonstrate how Rock X enables seamless access control that integrates with existing security operations and alleviates challenges for administrators, managers and users,” notes D’Agostin.

Rock X from Alcatraz AI will also play a key role in the partnership. The company notes that Rock X is designed to work indoors and outdoors to provide biometric security and access control.
