TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Mercy Health announced its partnership with home buying experts to help area residents looking to purchase their own home.

On November 14, local real estate specialists, lenders and title company representatives will share information about the home buying process. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Kent Branch Library located at 3101 Collingwood Blvd.

“Many members of our community have told us that homeownership, especially for first-time buyers, is a challenge that can seem insurmountable,” said Cindy Pisano, Mercy Health Supervisor – Healthy Connections. “Working with experts in the housing field, Mercy Health and our Getting Healthy Zone partners collaborate to ensure that anyone interested in becoming a homeowner has the confidence and knowledge they need to pursue that dream.” »

According to Mercy Health, experts from EXP Reality, Jewel Realty, Louisville Title and the Financial Opportunity Center will share insights on the following topics:

• The Home Buying Process
• How a Real Estate Agent Can Help
• Down payment assistance from the City of Toledo and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) program
• Additional topics

The event is free and open to the public.
