Liam Payne will be buried in his country of origin, and In touch can confirm that the former One Direction member’s body will be flown back to the UK ahead of the funeral.

In touch learned that undertakers had transported Liam’s body from a morgue in Buenos Aires to a British cemetery founded in the 19th century and located in the northern part of the city. This decision was made after authorities gave Liam’s father, Geoff Payne permission to bring her son’s body home.

The Argentinian point of sale daily La Nación reported that Geoff, 59, met with the head of the prosecution Andres Madrea and was told he could return home with Liam’s body two weeks after his death on October 16.

“All documents are ready for the former One Direction singer to return to his homeland so that a funeral can take place there next week,” the newspaper wrote. “When Geoff Payne arrived in Argentina on October 18, he was told that the repatriation process could take between four and five days, but that due to the circumstances surrounding his son’s death, things took longer than expected.”

Although prosecutors have not yet confirmed the results of the toxicology and tissue tests, Geoff was informed that repatriation could not take place until the tests were completed.

Liam and his girlfriend, Kate Cassidyhad gone to Argentina to observe his comrades forformer member of One Direction Niall Horan will perform on October 4. In a posted travel vlog, Kate, 25, revealed that she and Liam were only supposed to be in South America for a few days, but the trip lasted two weeks and she decided to return to the United States before Liam.

October 22 In touch learned that the death of the artist “Story of My Life” could have been caused by high purity drugs and some substances may have had a different effect on him than the drugs he used in different countries. Traces of cocaine were found in Liam’s body at the time of his death, but another white powder found in his bedroom was deemed “inconclusive.”

Forensic Toxicologist Fernando Cardini spoke to Argentinian television station Todo Noticias and said “a very complex mixture of chemicals” was found in Liam’s system.

“There was a situation where a person was using drugs, but being in a different country, maybe they didn’t have the same concentration of drugs that they purchased,” Cardini explained. “Maybe that got the better of him.”

While some members of the public wondered if Liam was possibly pushed from his balcony, In touch learned that forensic experts found no signs of self-defense before his death.

“Someone who commits suicide, before falling, has the instinct to put out their hands to protect themselves,” Cardini said. “He died after a fall, but the combination of drugs was very important.”
