Who is Sharon Goodwin’s stalker in? Chicago Med?

Goodwin’s stalker storyline became downright scary, after she first received a death threat in the third episode. She opened a note that read: “I’m going to put a knife to your throat and watch you bleed out!” » The dangerous situation worsened when Goodwin spotted a dark figure in his house after watching the neighbor’s security footage.

In a Reddit discussion about Goodwin’s stalker, a Chicago Med One fan floated “a possibly unbalanced theory” that isn’t entirely far-fetched. They point to the recent firing of a doctor, who may have had motive to harass Goodwin. Dr. Zach Hudgins (Conor Perkins) first appeared in season 8 as a first-year emergency medicine resident. He was fired by Dr. Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos) in the season 10 premiere episode after abandoning a patient because he was overwhelmed by blood and death from a mass casualty accident.

“So in Season 10, Episode 4, when this maintenance guy was in Goodwin’s office and he said he broke his frame, at first glance I thought that it was Zach (Hudgins). What if it was his father?? wrote the Reddit user. “After that scene where Lenox fired him in such a cold manner, I’m sure he was devastated. I know it also makes sense that it would be one of the staff members who gets fired, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the harasser ended up being a family member trying to get justice.

Some agreed, with comments such as “I love this theory!” ”, “This could happen” and “I had a feeling it was Zach”.

Another fan replied, “Zach got fired in episode 1. Goodwin got the first threat we saw in episode 3. So being Zach or a family member might be okay.”

One person commented on another theory, noting, “I still think he’s the guy who slammed the door while Ripley was waiting outside Goodwin’s office.” He wore a gray coat, like the department heads. But I don’t know how long this story can last. Do you think this will end in a kidnapping or maybe Goodwin/Dennis will get hurt before the Christmas break? »

Another fan agreed, writing: “That’s who I’m thinking too.”

One fan poked some holes in the original Reddit user’s speculation, however, writing, “The maintenance guy being Zach’s dad would be a big job.” It would have appeared like a neon sign during the audit for possible insider threats. It would take a lot of soap opera style writing to explain why his presence was not known and for him not to be under at least low level surveillance.

The synopsis for the November 6 episode suggests that it is a former colleague who harasses Goodwin. THE season 10, episode 6 Logline explains, “Chicago police increase security for Goodwin after she is threatened online by former employee; Archer and Frost treat victims of a punishment camp injured in a landslide; Maggie finds herself forced to give birth to a high school student’s baby.

According to the Chicago Med synopsis for the upcoming eighth episode, airing November 20, the Goodwin mystery may not yet be solved. The synopsis for episode 8, titled “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” reveals that “Goodwin’s problems persist.”

Some fans fear that Goodwin’s stalker storyline will continue for many more episodes before being resolved. In another Reddit discussion on the show, one person noted: “I can see she’s being dragged towards at least the mid-season finale, especially since I can see him returning in the season finale in May in the last two minutes of the episode, thus leaving Goodwin’s life on a cliffhanger similar to Will’s crash and Natalie in Season 4.”

Another person commented: “I think we’ll have this story at least until the Christmas break.” I wonder if we’ll have a replay later (or repercussions, perhaps even physical, like injury).
