STRICTLY’s Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke have both been criticized for outscoring Pete Wicks again.

Returning to the main studio after the Blackpool Special last week, Pete and professional dancer Jowita Przystał opened week 10 with a Tango to Easy Lover by Phil Collins and Philip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire.

Donning a smart black suit, the pair were praised for Pete’s opening line, but were criticized for his apparent hesitation during certain moves.

They scored 29, with Craig Revel-Horwood awarding six, Motsi Mabuse awarding seven, while Shirley and Anton both gave it an eight.

The differing scores fueled fan sentiment that Shirley played favorites with Pete throughout the series.

Expressing her frustration on X (formerly Twitter), one wrote: “Shirley agreed with Motsi’s review but still gave Pete a higher rating than her.”

“Shirley and Anton over-score, surprise… no,” said another, while a third wrote. “I knew Shirley would outclass Pete.”

“Shirley loves the visual improvement. Anton thinks Pete has improved massively. Give it an 8. This is crazy,” said a third.

While a fourth wrote. “Pete’s Tango was what we expected in week 3 and not week 10. WTF was that 8 paddles!?”

Shirley has already hit back at criticssaying she’s “not going anywhere” despite a petition to have her fired got steam.

“It’s strictly the light of my life and my friends’ lives,” she said.
