ZAKK WYLDE says next BLACK LABEL SOCIETY album could potentially arrive in late 2025

During a recent meeting with Lipps Service with Scott Lipps, Zakk Wylde ideas shared on Black Label Company‘s twelfth studio album, which will follow their 2021 release, Doom Crew Inc.released under MNRK Heavy.

While reflecting on their current writing and recording sessions, Zakk revealed: “We recorded a bunch of stuff while we were at home. I mean, obviously, it’s going to be a lot of — we’re going to do a Pantera celebration tour throughout 2025, and then there will be Sabbath Zakk shows are also peppered there. So I imagine that somewhere – I don’t know – maybe late 2025, early 2026, or whatever, release another black label album.

Wylde explained how the extended schedule allows for a more thoughtful creative process. “All it does for me is it just gives you more time to keep writing and listening to stuff and go back and say, ‘No, you know what? Let me put more orange in there -on it rather than red’, where you can actually, sit down and watch it and everything like that because usually, most of the time, when I make the records, I go, whether it’s . Stillborn, Messiah suicideanything like that, for nothing.”

For Wylderecording sessions are fertile ground for inspiration. As he describes it: “I think if you ask any musician, they’ll tell you that when you’re in a recording studio, it’s just a fertile ground for inspiration. Because everything sounds great… Whether you’re sitting with an acoustic guitar, or behind a piano, or with the big overdriven guitars, the drums sound like cannons. So everything looks amazing. And it’s just very inspiring.”
