HYDERABAD: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, pointing out inconsistency between religious policies adopted in different institutions.

He referred to the recently appointed president of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), who declared an exclusively Hindu staff policy in Tirumala, while the NDA government at the Center seeks to enforce the inclusion of non-Muslims in the councils of Waqf administration.

In an article on X On Friday evening, Owaisi wrote: “Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams president says only Hindus should work in Tirumala. But the Modi government wants to make the presence of non-Muslims in the boards and the Waqf council mandatory. Most laws on Hindu foundations insist that only Hindus should be members. What’s good for the goose should be good for the eyes, right? »
