The ‘CBS Mornings’ co-host, 69, revealed she doesn’t wear underwear when she sleeps during his Thursday appearance on Drew Barrymore’s eponymous talk show.

“I always sleep in a big old ratty T-shirt but I don’t like wearing underwear,” King revealed.

The journalist explains that she likes “to feel the breeze there”.

Barrymore agreed that sleeping without skivvies is the way to go — and she’s even tried to teach her two children to take up the practice.

“I used to tell girls – they’ll be so horrified by this – but I was like, ‘You have to let him breathe.’ Let’s take a break to breathe,’” Barrymore said.

“With those diapers on you all the time?” Nuh-uh. We’re just going for a walk and whatever happens, happens. And yes, women should feel the breeze.

The “Charlie’s Angels” actress – who shares Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10, with ex-husband Will Kopelman – went on to explain how she likes to sleep in her birthday suit when she’s home for her alone.

“This is how I roll. If there’s no one in the house, including the kids – they’re going to spend the night at their dad’s house – I’ll sleep naked,” Barrymore said. “I love it. I lock all the doors and parade around like a little jay.

This isn’t the first time King has spoken out about his bedtime habits. The channel revealed in 2018 that it he only gets a few hours of sleep per night.

“I tell you, I’m happy if I look at my Under Armor band and it starts with a 4,” she previously said of the activity tracker that records her sleep. in an interview with The Cut.

The editor-in-chief of O, The Oprah Magazine explained that she set her alarm for 3:22 a.m. and set a backup alarm for three minutes later.

“I wake up, I get out of bed, I go in the bathtub, and then the car comes to pick me up at 4:30 p.m.,” she said at the time. “We go to the studio, do our hair and makeup and get together before the show, then it’s off to the races.”

Despite her less-than-restful nights, she proudly admitted that she had “never overslept.”

King noted that she can deal with her lack of Z since her two children – Kirby and William – are all grown up.

“I always say they have jobs and are used to cleanliness, so it’s not like I have to go home to take care of the kids or cook a meal for someone else than myself,” she said. “Do you know what my dinner was last night? Honey Nut Cheerios with Bananas and Raisins. I was so proud of myself; cooking is not my strong suit.
