NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – For the first time since 2013, the Tennessee State Tigers are in the College Football Playoff.

The Big Blue learned today during the FCS Selection Show that they will play the Montana Grizzlies on November 30th at 9:15 p.m. CT.

TSU split a four-way tie for the Big South/OVC Conference title by defeating Southeast Missouri in the regular season finale.

This gave the Tigers a 9-3 record. It’s only the second time they’ve won nine regular season games since 1999.

Eddie George is in his 4th season at the helm of the Big Blue.
