BLISSFIELD, Mich. (WTVG) – Authorities in Blissfield said one person was arrested after authorities found a 34-year-old man dead.

Police responded to a report of a person found unresponsive at an undisclosed location on Nov. 7, according to Blissfield Police Chief Dale Greenleaf. Paul Jones, 34, was dead.

Police said Tuesday that the investigation led police to arrest one person, but they have not yet released the name of the specific charges. Authorities also seized suspected heroin, cocaine and fentanyl with a street value of $100,000. They also took handguns, rifles and cash.

Jones’ cause of death is pending a complete autopsy and toxicology examination by the Lenawee County Medical Examiner, police said.

Blissfield police said people with information can contact Blissfield police, Crime Stoppers of Lenawee County or the Michigan State Police Region of Irish Hills Narcotics Office (RHINO) task force and remain anonymous if they wish. .
