“Donald Trump is a white supremacist”

Pro-Kamala Harris guest Michael Blake arrived hot, telling the anchor John Berman this president-elect Donald Trump is a “white supremacist” and Republican CNN analyst in struggle Shermichael Singleton during a segment Thursday.

Trump – who achieved a surprising result quick and convincing victory against Vice President Harris on Tuesday – I wasted little time announcing that his promise to carry out mass deportations will take effect from the start of his second term.

During Thursday’s post-election edition of CNN News CentralBlake — founder and CEO of the Kairos Democracy Project and former vice chair of the Democratic National Committee — criticized the plan:

BERMAN: So specifically, on two of these broader policies, tariffs and some aspects of immigration, those are areas where Trump might be able to act almost unilaterally with executive action – on certain parts – on some parts, Michael.

So how would you suggest Democrats make their point or try to influence it?

BLAKE: Democrats, we need to be very clear about who they are. Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has a Project 2025 agenda he wants to implement. And everyone who voted for these policies must clearly count on that.

So, very practically, John, in answer to your question, mass deportation of immigrants on MLK Day, which is Inauguration Day, would harm our economy in a detrimental way. Make it very clear that their proposals are aimed at whitewashing America rather than strengthening it.

Second, when we talk about the economy, we have developed policies that would help people create jobs. If you focus on what needs to happen in terms of starting businesses, you’re really focusing on a minority business development agency. This is how we can really create jobs on the ground.

And so very concretely, when we see what happened on Tuesday, it was mainly white men and women who unfortunately decided not to vote for the vice president – and yet they elected black women to the Michigan Supreme Court. Still, we had some wins and Ruben Gallego is going to win Arizona. Yet we had victories in North Carolina.

This is the fear of a Black and South Asian woman that needs to be talked about. And we are unclear about race, gender and class. We do not know the truth about what is currently happening in the country.

Blake continued to accuse Singleton “anti-Black” in an exchange that Berman cut short due to a segment breakup.
