Reddick’s return to Arizona
Haason Reddick returns to where his NFL career began this weekend. Reddick, a first-round pick of the Cardinals in 2017, played in two games with the Jets after ending his holdout. He just had an 8 pressure effort against the Texans. Reddick was also credited with a 0.5 sack as the Jets racked up a season-high 8 QB takedowns.

“I felt like a lot of people thought I would come back and need three or four games to adjust and get my speed back,” Reddick said. “But being able to play two games in 10 days is really a testament to the work I put in during the offseason.”

Since leaving the Cardinals, Reddick has returned to play in Glendale twice, in 2021 as a member of the Panthers (1.5 sacks, 4 tackles) and in 2022 with the Eagles (1.0 sack, 1 TFL). Reddick will spend Sunday afternoon chasing his dynamic former teammate, quarterback Kyler Murray.

“(Murray) is not a statue in this pocket,” Reddick said. “If he feels pressure, he’s going to run. He’s fast and he’s got quickness. He’s small and a little smaller, so it’s even harder to get him down. But I’m always looking forward to a challenge, go down to Arizona and see these guys.”
