KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – Traffic on Dallas-bound I-20 is backed up following a major crash Saturday.

The crash involved three 18-wheelers in the westbound lanes of the highway and may have affected the eastbound side as well, according to the Elmo Fire Department. The incident occurred at mile marker 512 near Terrell.

A later update from the department indicated traffic was moving onto the shoulder of the west side of the highway.

Travelers from East Texas heading to Dallas may face delays as the area clears.
