Free parkingonce a staple of Las Vegas hotels, is now as difficult to obtain as the slot machine jackpot.

A handful of Las Vegas Strip hotels that once touted free parking, including The Strat, Venetian and Palazzo, ended free parking for guests and visitors in 2023. It now costs tourists $20 per day to self-park at the Strat and up to $23. per day so most people can self-park at the Venetian and Palazzo.

The Tropicana offered free parking before it closed in April to make way for a new Major League Baseball stadium for the Oakland Athletics, who will move to Las Vegas in 2028.

But just because it’s harder to find free parking in Vegas doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

Several places on and off the Strip do not charge for parking. Some hotels offer free parking as a perk of their rewards programs, but you will need to reach a certain status level before this perk takes effect. Nevada Residents Also benefit from free parking in many hotels.

Free parking on the Las Vegas Strip

Since November 2024, these hotels and casinos offer free parking on the Las Vegas Strip.

Circus Circus

Standard automatic parking is free at Circus Circus for guests and visitors. Valet service and parking for oversized vehicles additional cost.

Fashion show in Las Vegas

Self-parking is generally free for Fashion show in Las Vegas customers in the shopping center’s underground parking lot and in two garages. However, parking charges are in place for the next Las Vegas Grand Prix 2024 weekend.

Parking will cost $50 on November 21-22, then increase to $80 on race day, November 23. Shoppers who spent more than $150 at the mall may be eligible for validation. According to Fashion show website“FSLV buyers must provide same-day FSLV purchase and/or catering receipts collectively totaling $150 or more, and time-stamped by 5 p.m. in order to receive a parking reimbursement for the event. Validation does not apply not in the pre-reserved parking lot.”

Sahara Las Vegas

Parking at The Sahara two garages, accessible via Las Vegas Boulevard and Paradise Road, are free for hotel guests and visitors to the property.

Crystals stores

The shopping center adjacent to the Aria Resort & Casino offers free valet parking.

Treasure Island

Self-service parking and valet parking Treasure Island are free for hotel and casino guests.

Wynn Las Vegas

Self parking is free for guests staying at Wynn Encore Resort and Tower Suite, visiting the Wynn Poker Room, Private Access Members and President, Black and Platinum level Wynn Rewards members. Visitors who are not staying at the hotel can benefit from up to three hours of free parking. Beyond that, self-parking typically costs $20 per day, but can cost more during special events.

Free parking next to the Las Vegas Strip

As of November 2024, these spaces provide free parking in areas off the Strip.

Boyd Gaming

Many off-Strip casino hotels under the Boyd Gaming brand, including Sam’s town, Hotel & Casino Orléans, Gold Coast Casino Hotel And Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa — offer free parking to hotel guests.

THE California Casino Hotel offers 30 minutes of free parking. Daily rates are $10 Monday through Thursday and $25 Friday and weekends. Restaurant and gaming guests can have their parking validated with a minimum spend of $30 at Boyd-owned restaurants or 10 tier credits in games. Parking is free for Boyds Rewards members of Emerald status and above.

Oyo Hotel & Casino

Short-Term Parking is free.

Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place

Parking is “100% free” at the resort, according to the FAQ page on its website.

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

Self-service and valet parking are free.

Hotel-Casino Rio

The hotel, which is currently undergoing an extensive renovation, offers free parking for the guests.

Silverton Casino Lodge

This hotel, which appeals to budget-conscious travelers with its free aquarium and mermaid showpropose free parking and valet service.

South Point Casino Hotel

The luxury hotel, whose rooms are described as “mini-suites”, offers free parking for his guests.

Hotels in Station

Three off-Strip hotels under the Station name — Palais Station, Santa Fe Station And Sunset Station — offer free parking.

Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas

Self-service and valet parking are free.

Westgate Las Vegas Casino Hotel

Free self-parking is available for guests.

Resort Rewards Programs with Free Parking Perks

If you are a member of a hotel casino rewards program, you may be eligible for free parking depending on your status in the program.

Caesars Entertainment: Caesars Awards

Parking at Caesars Las Vegas resorts is free for Caesars Rewards members at the Platinum, Diamond and Seven Star levels. Entry-level Gold Tier members must earn 5,000 credits from gaming, dining and entertainment purchases at Caesars resorts to reach Platinum.

MGM Resorts: MGM Rewards

MGM Resorts, whose properties include Bellagio, Aria, Excalibur and The Cosmopolitan, offers free self-parking for MGM Members Rewards in Pearl, Gold, Platinum and Black levels and free valet parking in Gold levels and above. Entry-level Sapphire tier members must earn 20,000 credits to reach Pearl. Black is by invitation only. MGM policy states that availability of free parking may vary depending on reward level and property.

Resorts World Las Vegas: Genting Rewards

Free self-parking is available for Genting Awards with Elite status and above. It takes 3,000 tier credits for entry-level Royal members to reach Elite status. Free valet parking is available to first-tier Imperial members who have earned at least 1 million tier credits.

The Venetian and the Palazzo: Venetian awards

The Venetian and Palazzo offer free parking for Venetian awards members of the Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond levels and free valet parking for the latter two. Entry-level Jade tier members must earn 3,000 tier points through resort purchases to reach Sapphire.
