The NFL fined the San Francisco 49ers linebacker $10,750 on Saturday. Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles for unnecessary roughness during the 49ers’ win over the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday night. Flannigan-Fowles was fined for leading with his helmet during the game.

Flannigan-Fowles played 18 snaps on special teams against the Cowboys, but was still fined for his actions on one of them. According to the NFL Violations and Fines ScheduleUnauthorized use of your helmet carries a fine of $22,511. Flannigan-Fowles was likely fined less, as NFL fines cannot exceed 10 percent of a player’s game check.

According to other sources, the NFL is still considering a possible fine for the 49ers star Nick Bosawho wore a “MAGA” cap after Sunday’s victory over Dallas. Bosa didn’t wear it during his postgame meeting with the media, but he appeared with it on air while NBC interviewed a few of his teammates. Bosa was asked about the hat during his media session, but declined to discuss it, saying, “I’m not going to talk about it, but I think it’s an important moment.”

If Bosa is fined, it will most likely be $11,255, the fine for what the NFL calls “personal messages.” According to Matt Barrows of Athleticsthe NFL has no plans to suspend Bosa.
