An Introduction to Super Saiyan

Rather than Goku simply transforming into a Super Saiyan through a feeling of rage, Kadan allows him to access this power through some training. In order for Son to prove that he is one of the strongest warriors in the universe, the ruler of the Third Demon World sends an army of his subordinates to prove that the Z-Fighter is worthy of his time to fight Gomah. Facing multiple opponents at once, Goku proves that he can still transform into a Super Saiyan when the need arises.

This is the first time Goku has gone Super Saiyan in his “mini form”, but Dragon Ball Daima has already proven that it won’t be the last. In a recent preview of the anime series, footage was released showing that Vegeta is about to land in the Demon Realm. It looks like the two Saiyans will not only team up to fight the Tamagami, but they will fight again in their mini Super Saiyan forms.

Super Saiyan 2 and 3 Mini coming?

Many comparisons have been made between Dragon Ball Daima And Dragon Ball GTthe latter having many similarities with the former. During the Grand Tour, Goku was able to access all of the previous Super Saiyan levels, that is, one to three, despite being in a much smaller form. Given that Daima’s Goku has been struggling with the challenges thrown at him, it will be interesting to see if he can make it to “SSJ2” and “SSJ3” while crossing over into the Demon Realm.

Of course, this should serve as a reminder that we probably won’t see Goku access some of the Dragon Ball Super classic transformations, such as Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct. Dragon Ball Daima takes place before Beerus and Whis arrived on Earth, meaning Goku has yet to truly unleash the power of the gods. That’s not to say we won’t see new transformations made to the Z-Fighters, especially given the introduction of the “Medi-Bugs.”
