At 12:59 p.m. Saturday, a high surf advisory was issued by the National Weather Service, effective from 10 a.m. Sunday through 10 a.m. Monday for the south-central Oregon coast and the Curry County coast.

The weather service comments: “Stay away from the surf zone and piers. Area beaches may become unsafe due to hazardous surf conditions.”
