LoL Worlds 2024 Champion Leads Caedrel’s ERL All-Star Team

The rats were released into the ERLs, as one of the League of Legends’ The most popular streamer, Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont, announced that he is starting an esports team today and was recently crowned world champion.

After teasing for weeks, Caedrel revealed his new League of Legends teamLos Ratones. The team will compete professionally in one of the European regional leagues, but the exact league Los Ratones will join has not yet been confirmed.

Caedrel brings together the dream team

Los Ratones’ roster includes veteran talent, popular creators, and a young jungler who Caedrel wants to see one day get an opportunity in the LEC. Simon “Thebausffs” Hofverberg starts in the top lane, a Lol streamer who is infamous for his “inting” Zion strategy.

Veljko “Velja” Čamdžić is the team’s jungler, a player who has been floating around the system for a while but has yet to break through. Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek returns to competition League of Legends for the first time since 2020, the player has since streamed for Gen.G.

In the bot lane, Juš “Cronie” Marušič makes his first competitive appearance since being abandoned by LEC team BDS. And the team wouldn’t be complete without a world champion: Carl Martin Erik “Rekkles” Larsson, who was T1’s replacement during their last Worlds triumph, joins the team. after leaving T1 Academy.

Los Ratones projects

Caedrel launched a video on YouTube to coincide with the roster announcement listing the different routes he could have taken with this new team. The first option was to create a streamer league in which several creators would create their own team. This was not a logistically realistic plan, so Caedrel explored other opportunities.

The next step was to create a team in North America and try to promote the LTA. The new system allows the best team in the NACL to fight for the chance to be promoted to the league. Due to limited knowledge of the region and the time difference, Caedrel opted for the choice he presented today, a European team. During the video, Caedrel said he didn’t want a team that would break the league, but rather one that was competitive and entertaining. Caedrel also outlined his long-term goals of taking his team to the LEC to compete against the best in the region.

Along with the roster, Caedrel announced that all of the team’s scrims would be public, which isn’t something. League esports fans are used to it. Professional players in games like Call of Duty And Halo will often disseminate their frameworks, but in Leaguetemplates are always internal and private. The only time the scrims would not be public is when they face an LEC team who asks them not to broadcast.

It’s an interesting decision and one that ensures that no matter what happens to Los Ratones, we’ll all be watching.
