KARACHI: The Pakistan Sports Council has asked the Pakistan Football Federation to submit necessary documents to initiate the No Objection Certificate (NOC) process for the Pakistan Women’s National Football Team’s friendly match against the Saudi Arabia, which will take place on December 7 in Doha, Qatar.

Sources say PFF submitted an NOC request on November 7, but the letter lacked complete details. In the request, the PFF had urged the PSB to speed up the process by relaxing the deadlines for issuing the NOC. However, PFF did not provide the full roster of players or other critical information needed for documentation.

In a response sent to the football body on November 8, the sports commission outlined the mandatory requirements that must be met before processing the NOC’s request.

The PSB clarified that the PFF must submit an official invitation from the host country, a form prescribed by the PSB, a written commitment from the Federation, an IT authorization form, deposits and detailed player profiles with the necessary certifications.

The PSB also reminded the PFF that without these formalities, it would not be possible to proceed with the NOC.

The board advised PFF to resubmit the application after meeting these conditions.
