NTT DATA Expands Partnership with Palo Alto Networks to Launch AI-Driven Cybersecurity Service

Information technology services and consulting company NTT DATA Corp. today announced an expanded partnership with a cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks Inc. which helps businesses protect their digital infrastructure against emerging cybersecurity threats.

The expanded partnership sees the introduction of NTT DATA’s Managed Extended Detection Response service, a new service that provides continuous threat monitoring, detection and rapid response capabilities. The service leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide visibility across networks, edge and cloud environments, enabling organizations to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

The new service builds on Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex XSIAM, its security operations center platform that uses AI and automation to simplify operations, stop threats at scale and accelerate incident resolution.

The combined capabilities are designed to help businesses strengthen their cyber resilience through the integration of technology, threat intelligence and security expertise and, in doing so, significantly reduce the time it takes to detect and respond to sophisticated cyber threats. NTT DATA MXDR users also benefit from a unified view of data and security operations on a single platform to streamline operations and prevent threats.

“Many organizations rely on fragmented security systems, making it more difficult to detect and respond quickly to advanced threats,” said Sheetal Mehta, global head of cybersecurity at NTT DATA. “By partnering with Palo Alto Networks, we deliver a unified solution that strengthens cyber resilience, streamlines security operations and improves overall agility. »

Features of NTT DATA’s new MXDR service include 24/7 incident detection and response, supported by a global operations team with cybersecurity expertise. Through the use of AI-based threat intelligence and machine learning, MXDR enables rapid threat detection and mitigation.

According to NTT, through its delivery of real-time threat intelligence, MXDR also provides proactive protection that reduces operational complexity for customers, improves resource management and reduces total cost of ownership. The service ensures that organizations can respond quickly and effectively to sophisticated threats.

The partnership between the two companies focuses on industries that rely on secure, connected environments, such as the manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Key benefits include comprehensive edge-to-cloud security that provides complete visibility across devices and networks to ensure robust protection against cyber threats.

This collaboration further delivers AI-driven threat detection for rapid, machine-speed responses, a unified platform to reduce complexity and total cost of ownership, and resilience against downtime through integrated and automated services. Together, these capabilities confidently support business continuity, global reach and modernization.
