Pet owners are very interested in costumes for their pets: pet owners are expected to spend around $700 million to dress up their pets this year, according to the National Retail Federation.

Google Trends analyzed the hottest Halloween costumes of 2024revealing the hottest trends nationally and in your region. Google’s listings compare search interest in 2024 to search interest in 2023, meaning that the costumes on the list showed the largest increase in searches since last year. This doesn’t necessarily mean these are the most sought after costumes overall.
