Thierry Henry is Arsenal’s all-time top scorer and, in most eyes, their best player ever.

Of his 228 goals for the club in two spells, few compare to his incredible solo effort in the North London Derby on this day in 2002.

Just 13 minutes into the match at Highbury, the Frenchman collected the ball just inside his own half and continued to run with, past and through several Spurs players.

The goal showed everything Henry was: elite dribbling, power, strength, pace, two feet and a world-class finisher.

Henry would win every individual award at the end of this season, and it’s no wonder to see a strike like this.
