Air France will launch service to Orlando in 2025

Next spring, Air France will return to Central Florida for the first time in more than a decade. This week, the carrier announced plans to launch nonstop service from its home base at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Orlando International Airport (MCO). This will connect the house of Disneyland Paris with that of Walt Disney World.

The service is scheduled to begin on May 21, 2025, just days before Memorial Day weekend in the United States and the unofficial kickoff of the peak summer travel season.

The addition of Orlando will give Air France a total of 18 destinations in the United States and 25 in North America.

The airline will not be a newcomer to Orlando, having last operated from Paris in 2012.

“We are delighted to welcome Air France back to Orlando, strengthening our city’s appeal as an international destination and connecting our region to one of the most iconic cities in Europe,” said Kevin Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, in a statement announcing the news. .

To echo Thibault’s point of view, Air France is seeing growth in air traffic beyond US domestic routes. In 2024, the total number of airline seats flying to Orlando from international cities increased by about 13% compared to 2019, according to data from aviation analytics firm Cirium. However, air traffic from Europe remains below pre-coronavirus levels.
