BOTSWANA — Economic Freedom Fighters president Julius Malema has been allowed to set foot in Botswana after the previous government banned him.

Malema at Boko’s inauguration

According to IOLMalema attended the inauguration of the new president of South Africa’s neighboring country, Duma Boko. Malema, alongside the former EFF vice-president Floyd Shivambuwas barred from entering the country in 2011. The ban was lifted and he attended Boko’s inauguration.

Malema assured his supporters that despite the worrying exodus of party members to the MK Party, the most recent being lawyer Dali Mpofuthe party is still strong. He said the party’s relationship with the country’s president goes back a long way.

“We have been through many difficulties together,” he said.

Internet users are drilling Malema

Internet users on Facebook shared various opinions on the party, which is losing high-ranking members. Recently, Busi Mkhwebane also left the party to join the MK Party.

Malema expels EFFSC member

In a related article, In brief News reported that Malema expelled a member of the EFF Student Command.

The member launched an online attack against Jules Malemaaccusing him of trying to promote EFF member Godric Gardee to vice president. He said Malema would learn he was not as untouchable as he thought. Less than a day later, he was fired.
