FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) – The 11th annual Walmart and Sam’s Club “Fight Hunger.” Stimulate change. The campaign raised $82,330 for families in the Mid-Michigan region. The fundraiser helped the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.

“This initiative has proven to be a vital partnership between the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Walmart, Sam’s Club and their generous suppliers. With the support of the local community, we are able to provide more meals to those in need, making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors who struggle with hunger,” said Kara Ross, President and CEO. Executive Director of the Eastern Food Bank. Michigan.

According to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, shoppers made donations at checkout or purchased participating items in stores or online.
