Crazy moments in the NBA are inevitable, including everything, since horrible and abnormal injuries to the fights that become fights throughout the stadium.

Eventually, players talk about these stories in documentaries with regret and solemn. But former player (and party animal) Lou Williamthe most WTF moment on the field actually, it comes from having a little too much fun the night before a match.

Lou William is one of many former athletes who have created their own podcast. In a recent episode of his The underground lounge with co-host Spank Horton, he was honest about his time with the Los Angeles Clippers when they were in town to play the New York Knicks. He you just had to enjoy the nightlife.

“We played a game at noon in New York. All my New York shit – I go to a little lounge, have a few drinks, then go back to the bedroom,” he begins. “That evening, it’s around 10:30 p.m., I’m about to go out. A wave of women arrived. I got a little carried away.

However, his plan was just to get drunk, but before he knew it, the club was closing and he had to enter the pitch a few hours later, drunk.

“I kept partying, fucking, I look around, they turn on the lights and I’m still in this bitch. I got to the arena, I was like, ‘Damn, I’m drunk as hell.’ Mind you, I’m coming off the bench, so I had about eight minutes to collect myself,” he recalls. “Doc Rivers called my number. I’m in the game, I turn the ball over twice immediately.

Williams was torn between admitting to being too enlightened and playing, but decided to tell Doc Rivers, more than willing to pay the fine the NBA gave him for being drunk during a game. However, instead of yelling at him and banishing him to the end of the bench, Coach Rivers played him because the team needed him.

“That nigga Doc looked me straight in the eye and said, ‘N-gga, you play the whole second quarter ’cause I need you to sweat this shit.’ Because I’m going to need you in the 4th quarter. I had 25 in the 4th quarter.

Internet sleuths discovered that the game took place in 2019 and Lou Will dropped 29 points, helping the Clippers beat the Knicks 122-110.
