EXCLUSIVE: Range Media Partners signed Haitian-American actor, writer, filmmaker and artist Numa Perrierincluding the famous Netflix romantic comedy The perfect findstarring Gabrielle Union and Keith Powers, won the Audience Award at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.

Before directing this film, Perrier made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film. Jezebela SXSW 2019 Critics’ Pick on Netflix via Array Releasing, in which she also wrote and starred. This film won numerous accolades, including Best Feature Film and Best Director at the American Black Film Festival, as well as a spot on the Rotten Tomatoes 2021 Directors to Watch list.

On television, Perrier has directed episodes of Reasonable doubt, Young Rock, The wonderful years, Queen of sugar And On the loosewith Kerry Washington for Hulu, for which she won the Hollywood Critics Association’s Best Director of a Comedy Series award. Twice nominated for the NAACP Image Awards as Best Director, she also appeared in Chelsea Peretti’s debut feature film. First time directorfrom producer Amy Poehler, as well as Wendy McColm’s thriller Fuzzy head facing Alicia Witt.

Perrier first gained acclaim as the founder of Black&Sexy TV, the first independent streamer for Black Millennials, where she served as the creator and showrunner of many popular series, including The couple. Next, she should star in a multimedia project, The eroticthrough its production arm House of Numa, in homage to the late, great poet and activist Audre Lorde. Additionally, she is directing a love story biopic centered on country music duo The War & Treaty.
