Johnny Depp says he ‘learned’ from past drama and has ‘no hard feelings towards anyone’

Johnny Depp is slowly rebuilding his career in Hollywood with his new film and intends to move on from his past problems.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter At the Rome Film Festival, Depp followed up on his past comments referring to his life as a “soap opera.”

“Some moments weren’t the best, some were hilarious. Some were crazy. The point is, it’s just wasand it’s simply East. So, for me, it happened. I learned, man,” he told the outlet.

He continued, “Everything we go through, whether you’re given a snow cone or you walk your dog, you learn something along the way. So I have no hard feelings toward anyone.”

Depp underwent a seven-week trial in 2022 with his ex-wife Amber Heard for alleged defamation that resulted in a media circus, including celebrity witnesses like Kate Moss and Ellen Barkin and fans invading the Virginia courthouse.

He was awarded $10.35 million in damages after a jury found Heard defamed Depp with allegations of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Heard and Depp finally settled down, with the ‘Aquaman’ star agree to pay Depp $1 million.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Depp said working can be helpful “especially when things are falling apart everywhere. »
