Sofia Richie Grainge got real by detailing how much weight she gained while pregnant with daughter Eloise.

“My life has meaning now,” Richie Grainge, 26, said during his episode of the “Therapuss” podcastreleased on Thursday, November 14. “I have never loved anything more in my life. I’m obsessed with her, she’s perfect. And I lost 50 pounds.

The model and podcast host Jake Shane – who is one of his closest friends – was quick to laugh at this admission.

“That’s what happened,” she added.

Richie Grainge and her husband Elliot Grainge welcomed daughter Eloise last Mayjust one year after their wedding in April 2023. During the podcast episode, the model detailed some of her favorite — and not so great — moments from her pregnancy.

“I made weekly photo updates. Every Monday,” the model recalls. “I could, like, watch myself grow. It was cute until it wasn’t.

After joking that it was “not” cute when her baby bump appearedshe quickly backed away.

“It was magnificent. That’s it, I always tell my friends,” Richie Grainge added. “I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s gone crazy.’ But I always had power. The whole way, I was like, “I’m amazing that I can do this.”

She added: “But I was also over 60.”

After Richie Grainge celebrated Eloise’s birthday, she “didn’t leave the house.” Shane, 25, joked she didn’t get the chance to experience Brat Summer.

“I didn’t even know this season happened,” she said. “In my mind, the summer season didn’t happen.”

She added: “I had my mom’s summer.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Richie Grainge revealed that Éloïse has a “baby phone” in which she receives texts – sometimes from Shane.

“I say ‘hello, Eloise’. And Sofia responds, usually,” Shane, 25, said during the podcast episode. Richie Grainge explained that “whoever is with Eloise gets the phone.”

Before recording Thursday’s podcast episode, Shane and Richie Grainge’s friend Ali Meller had access to the telephone.

“I said, ‘Eloise, do you mind if your mom and I talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today,’ and she said, ‘No, keep my name out of your mouth,'” Shane said . “And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you.’

Shane joked that Eloise had “a little attitude.” The podcast host joked that Richie Grainge is also “the best mother in the whole world.”
