Jarrett “JT” Thomas is leaving “Southern Charm” after two seasons.

The Bravo star announced her start of the serieswhich comes while production on season 10 is still underway, Friday via Instagram.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I have resigned from ‘Southern Charm,'” he said.

“Yesterday I informed Bravo that I will not be participating in the remaining 2-3 interviews in the green room before szn (sic) airs on 12/5 (I’ve done about 9 until today) and that I do not wish to participate in any way in the advancement of the television show,” he continued.

Thomas said he will “leave it at that for now” as he takes steps to “recover both physically and mentally from what has been an extremely difficult and exhausting year.”

Thomas joined the series in season 9 and notably feuded with actor Austen Kroll, leading to a physical altercation in the final episode.

Based on the Season 10 trailerit looks like Thomas will be fighting a new opponent when the series returns.

The preview revealed he had a tense interaction with co-star Madison LeCroy after another cast member, Craig Conovertold her that Thomas called her a “slut”.

“He’ll be the bitch when I’m done with him,” LeCroy retorted.

Thomas also revealed that he harbored romantic feelings for his co-star Venita Aspen in the trailer – an issue that seemed to spark controversy online.

Shortly after the trailer was released, a woman on social media came forward claiming to have also been involved with Thomas while filming the series, leading many fans to speculate that he was creating a storyline for the series. by deadline.

However, it remains unclear whether or not the alleged off-screen romance played into her decision to leave the show.

Shep Rose, Rodrigo Reyes, Taylor Ann Green and Leva Bonaparte star alongside Conover, Kroll, LeCroy and Aspen in the series.
