MISSOULA — Expect cloudy skies with highs in the 40s and 50s for your Veterans Day.

Our next system arrives this evening bringing patchy snow to the mountains as well as rain/snow to the valleys. Passages of 1″ to 3″ will be possible on Lookout, Lolo, Lost Trail and Marias passages tomorrow morning.

For the remainder of the week, western Montana will be under an active weather pattern, but no major storm systems are on the way.

During this time, expect intermittent snow over mountain passes, especially along the Montana-Idaho border. The impact will be more likely during the night and early morning.

Expect mostly light rain in the valleys, with perhaps a few snow showers mixing in at times overnight.

Highs will be in the 40s throughout the week.
