New York Times Technicians Create Their Own Games During Their Strike

Striking New York Times the technicians created a “Guild Constructions” page dedicated to typing themed games that you can play, including a version on Wordle, a word search and custom Relationships I talked about this earlier today.

As part of its strike announcement Monday, the New York Times Tech Guild asked that people not cross the digital picket line. play it from the New York Times daily puzzle games. This collection of five other games offers an alternative if you want to support the strikers but also want to do some puzzles.

There are currently five games on the page:

They’re not very sophisticated, but I had a lot of fun playing with them. The games will be updated “when they can be updated,” said Jen Sheehan, a spokeswoman for the NewsGuild of New York. The edge, you might want to check from time to time to see if there’s a new version of a puzzle to play. Sheehan also says that guild members created all the games, but Strike, which was made by an external supporter.

The New York Times did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
