Rahals launches military Indy 500 charity program

Courtney and Graham Rahal have rolled out a new charitable fundraising initiative involving the 2025 Indianapolis 500 and Rahal’s No. 15 Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda to support the Turns For Troops program.

Dubbed “Ride with Rahal,” donations of $50 or more to the Turns For Troops effort will place the donor’s chosen name on Rahal’s car next May for the 109th running of the Indy 500. With Turns For Troops , which has seen RLL sponsor United Rentals commit $50 for every ride Rahal has taken since 2016 and generated over $2 million, the funding is used to “ providing scholarships for veterans, virtual reality therapy.” for PTSD treatment, physical rehabilitation, and medical devices like the iBot motorized wheelchair and SoldierSuit for our veterans” via SoldierStrong.org.

The effort found on RidingWithRahal.com ends on April 4, 2025.

“I am extremely pleased to maintain our commitment to our veterans as we move toward 2025 and continue to increase our support in Turns For Troops,” Graham said.

“I think ‘Riding with Rahal’ is a great initiative for the month of May and Memorial Day weekend. I’m very excited to see all the names we get on the United Rentals car. I believe there are many things we can do together to help our veterans – and many here in this country need our support. I am very proud of what United Rentals does and everything we at the Graham and Courtney Rahal Foundation have done to continue to give back to our nation’s heroes. I think “Riding with Rahal” is a great initiative to continue growing.
