Saquon Barkley invents a whole new way to embarrass Jaguars defenders

Hanging out Saturday morning and watching the final ESPN College GameDay broadcast before the Ohio State vs. Penn State game, we saw a treat. Jason Kelce made an appearance. It was cool. The GOAT makes everything better. We did, however, learn something. The beloved Philadelphia Eagles legend is human.

Who knew? Jason Kelce can’t make field goals. Hey, no one is perfect, right? Well… It took a while, but we finally found Superman’s kryptonite.

Saquon Barkley has no weaknesses. It’s official. It’s an alien. We have just witnessed the most spectacular 14-yard gain in football history.

One of the most encouraging things about Saquon Barkley’s addition to the Eagles roster this offseason was knowing that he would run behind Philly’s offensive line. This has led to some breathtaking plays time and time again. Check out his breathtaking run in New Orleans for proof.

But, with just over 14 minutes left in the second quarter, he was left to his own devices and, since he’s so good, it didn’t matter.

They don’t hand out points for decent melee wins, nor do they offer fancy or style points for creativity. If they did, it would deserve to be rewarded.

Saquon continues to press all the buttons on the PlayStation controller, the “L1” button, the “X” and everything else. The Jacksonville Jaguars don’t need much help to be embarrassing, but thank Mr. Barkley for the help. His Nittany Lions lost to the Buckeyes, but if they had a Saquon clone or two, they would have won by two scores.

He helped Philly break its season-long curse in the first quarter.. His brilliant season continues. This is a season we expect to finish with playoff accolades.
