Real Madrid fans on X collapse after 4-0 Clasico defeat to Barcelona

Football fans on X (formerly Twitter) collapsed after Real Madrid were beaten 4-0 at home by Barcelona in the Clasico on Saturday October 16. Hansi Flick’s team did all the damage in the second half of the match after the first half ended goalless. Barça’s Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski, scored twice (54′, 56′) before Lamine Yamal (77′) and Raphinha (84′) also found the back of the Blaugrana net.

Real Madrid are now six points behind their main rivals in the La Liga table after 11 matches, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side having scored 24 points so far. The unexpected home Clasico result saw social media fans on X (formerly Twitter) go crazy. One of the fans commented:

I wonder why you spent so much money on Mbappé. This guy was nowhere.

Coach said he had a plan for today but all I see is humiliation

I can’t even express how horrible this loss is.
Mbappe must be benched for his poor performances.
There must be an insane winter transfer window.

I have never seen a Real Madrid team give up in a match before. They gave up in the second half.

First time for Mbappé, he will adapt

Real Madrid were without Rodrygo Goes and Thibaur Courtois for the Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu. The result, however, was far from expected as Ancelotti’s side entered the competition on the back of a thrilling 5-2 win over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League. However, such a comeback did not come under the brightest lights against Barcelona.
